Information for Realtors

Ashborough is a community with Covenants and Restrictions  The enforcement of the covenants and restrictions is governed by the Board of Directors operating under the Bylaws of the Ashborough Civic Association. Property owners who do not comply  with the Covenants and Restrictions are subject to fines and interest, whether they are aware of them or not.  An Annual Assessment is collected at the beginning of each calendar year.

Any change to the exterior appearance must be approved in advance by the Architectural Review Board prior to the work being done.  This includes, but not limited to, tree removal, painting, roofs, windows, doors, fences, decks, porches, driveways and landscaping.  Basically, anything that changes the exterior must be approved by the Architectural Review Board.  Property owners who do not obtain Architectural Review Board approval in advance are subject to fines by the Ashborough Civic Association and potentially by Dorchester County.
